Submitting Samples

Users should typically be trained on instrumentation if routine analysis is needed in order to conduct research. For accurate mass analysis or single measurements fill out the sample submission form and submit the labeled vials on the desk near the MAT 900. Unlabeled vials will be disposed of without analysis. First time users should always contact a staff person to determine the best method to submit samples to avoid multiple preparations of samples. Users with multiple samples (more than 5) should validate the preparation procedure on a single sample first and then prepare other samples. Properly prepared samples receive a substantial discount .

All samples must be clearly labeled with a clearly identified sample number and owner. Unlabeled samples will not be analyzed and will be replaced in the sample return box. Unclaimed samples will be destroyed after 2 weeks.
