FTS-60 FTIR with UMA-500 Microscope
This
main bench of this spectrophotometer has exchangable optics for
Mid-IR and Near-IR operation and it is coupled to an IR microscope
for small sample area studies. The instrument can be configured
to provide the following spectral ranges:
Main bench:
 |
Mid-IR 400-4,000 cm-1
|
 |
Near IR 4,000-10,000 cm-1
|
Microscope:
 |
Mid-IR 700-4,000 cm-1
|
 |
Near-IR 4000-7500 cm-1
|
| |
|
The microscope can be set up to collect transmission or reflectance
data. There are attachments available for the main bench to perform
Diffuse Reflectance, Grazing Angle Reflectance and Attenuated
Total Reflectance experiments.

BIORAD
FT-RAMAN II SPECTROMETER
The FT-Raman spectrophotometer
uses a Nd:YAG infrared laser and a liquid nitrogen cooled germaniun
detector. This instrument can be used to record Raman spectra
for liquid, powder and solid samples, providing both Stokes and
anti-Stokes lines up to a range of 4,000 cm-1. A signal to noise
ratio of 800:1 is typical with the liquid samples.

SPECTROPHOTOMETER
Cary
Model 1
Range: 190-900 nm
Spectral Bandwidth: 0.2 nm to 4 nm
This is a double beam,
ratio recording, Czerny-Turner spectrophotometer, which is controllet
by a PC. It is capable of making concentration measurements; scan
overlay; spectral addition, subtraction, division and averaging;
spectral derivatives and smoothing selection. An integrating sphere
attachment also provides the option of making diffuse reflectance
measurements of solid samples.

SPECTROFLUOROMETER
Photon Technology
International model QM-2 is a modular spectrofluorimeter for
recording excitation or emission spectra, synchronous scans, and
lifetime phosphorescence studies. It is equipped with two lamps--a
75 watt Xenon arc lamp, used in steady state measurements, and
a pulsed lamp, used for phosphorescence or gated and delayed fluorescence
measurements. The system allows for addition and subtraction of
data, spectral correction and output of files in ASCII and binary
forms.
